Corsair Vengeance M90 and M60 Gaming Keyboards and Mice Review
INTRODUCTION
Corsair has always commanded respect as a brand from the days it started manufacturing memory kits. It is now considered a top most brand for memory, power supplies, SSDs and cases. Their latest line of product in the market consists of gaming keyboards, mouses, headsets and even speakers. And today we would be looking at their gaming mouse M60.
Coming to Vengeance M60, this is a mouse which can be used by regular office users who demand decent tracking even with their production work along with of course FPS gamers. Its main features consists of removable weights along with a sniper button which drops the DPI to the users chosen level for taking accurate shots.
So lets move ahead and get to know the mouse better.
SPECIFICATION AND CLOSER LOOK
- Enthusiast-grade 5,700 DPI laser sensor
- 8 ergonomically placed buttons
- Unibody aluminum chassis with weight adjustment.
- On the fly DPI adjustment
- High-mass scroll wheel
- Lift Detection
Just like the M90, its little brother M60 also uses Avago Technologies ADNS-9500 LaserStreamâ„¢ Gaming Sensor which provides pretty excellent performance and tracking.
The mouse has 8 buttons with On the fly DPI change buttons alongwith dedicated sniper button which automatically lowers the DPI to our chosen level. Though to be honest we were not able to adjust our gaming style to use the button but maybe there are a few users who can use the button as its advertised. The M60 also includes lift detection which provides decent cursor placement even when lifted off of the mousing surface. This works as advertised for quick short duration.
M60 again has a unibody aluminum frame which keeps its weight low and gives a pretty durable feeling. It also has three adjustable tuning zones, from where weights can be removed to make it weigh as per your liking. Though gamers who prefer heavy mouses will be disappointed since the mouse is pretty light to begin with.
The low-friction glide pads ensure that the movement is swift and as we said before its tracking is upto par with the best of optical mouses namely Razer Deathadder and Steelseries.
Overall we were impressed with the mouse which is better than the M90 in our testing because of the weight, feel, grip and tracking.
CONCLUSION AND VERDICT
With removable weights, great tracking, ideal weight and grip and 8 buttons, Corsair Vengeance M60 is definitely a mouse which we would recommend to anyone looking for a gaming mouse for FPS. It will be launched in the Indian subcontinent at a price of Rs. 2650 which is another positive factor going for the mouse. Overall we were very pleased with the price and performance of the mouse and people looking for Value for money should not look any further.
We give the mouse a thumbs up.
